BMW has a bad reputation here because older models are driven mostly by chavs. Still very popular, I guess newer models don't have the stigma and are considered more luxurious.

You have people who have a good car and just don't give a fuck about any of it and then you have the next two main groups: those who like japano cars (particularly 90s sports cars) and those who like 'Australian' cars (particularly holden commodores). Though those two groups can cross over. Unless you're driving a very old car, a military vehicle or a limo or some shit. No one considers a car more than just a car. No one gives a fuck.
