It is actually decent, sometimes on /int/ I have a nice discussion with someone and I end up maybe talking to him again but I am not sure whether it was the same leaf. Talking in the Nederdraad I know the chances are pretty high, you do not know people by name (though there is a chat room attached to it too) but you know a bit how some people post.

You can stretch out discussion over several threads too, which is a big plus. If a normal thread dies the discussion dies with it, a general never dies and you can just take it to the next one.

Filtering out is not solution as you can see from pic fp (other threads get hidden as well) + I do quite like generals even if just to check them and pics and couple of words to at least get an idea what they are talking about.
It is just the number of them that has become annoying.
