Yes, because it's a big country. But we do have restrictions in the mountains (chain up or use snow tires) and sometimes close the interstates during blizzards.

I use all-seasons March-November, and switch to Nokian Hakkas in the winter. I live in the Great Lakes.

We use summer tires throughout all the year.
