Not really. Let me explain it to you.
Before commies we had westernized and europeised high class, who had nothing to do with ordinary people and exploited us harshly. Their culture copied that of Europeans so things they have produced seem to be interesting to you.
After high classes had fleed in 1917, commies created educated class from ordinary people, who were of the real Russian culture. So soviet culture is actually real Russian culture and it's more interesting to us than tsar Russia culture, but it's not interesting for westerners because it's foreign to them.
