Fair fair. There just seems to sometimes be a dichotomy between written and spoken Hebrew when it comes to participles and other grammatical words. I.E. how haerev haze is redundant. I mean, I get that specific case, we don't call Haaretz "Haaretz Haze" or something equally stupid, but written Hebrew tends to be more specific (I guess that's the same with any language).
