How are you supposed to say it?
I always feel so self concious when I order foreign food desu. I have a really thick prairie accent too (like in this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxRXZt73An8 ) so I probably sound especially hickish when I can't say these kinds of words.

It's like a tortilla, only thicker and stretchier.
So how am I supposed to say it? I pronounce it "non".

>Indians will seriously cite this as an example of the """"racism"""" they experience throughout their daily lives in the West
I've started saying "naan bread" and "chai tea" on purpose just to piss Indians off. It's very important to regularly remind them that their inferior culture is a) totally irrelevant to everybody who isn't Indian, and b) subservient to my culture and my language conventions. If you want to say naan instead of naan bread then you should live in a Hindi-speaking toilet country where naan bread is normal and not a weird novelty.
