Universities abroad are more welcoming since you pay more than the locals. That's an opportunity to become fluent in English too or whichever language is spoken there, and to get a second passport eventually. If you come back in your country, you'll have the advantage of having experienced a different culture, maybe a different work environment, and bring this difference with you. There aren't many disadvantages besides the cost and being away from your friends and family.
