It was out in the open at all times, it was just not clear whether or not he had actually committed an infraction as selbutamol is legal in therapeutic doses, he did however fail to report that he had administered a dose exceeding WADA regulations and was rightfully banned for doing so. Everything seems to be working as far as I'm concerned.

We even got our only weightlifter going to the olympics banned, it's not like we are afraid of punishing out athletes.

I'm sorry but Norway and Sweden are in fact the two strictest nations in the world when it comes to anti-doping. No single nation administers more out of contest doping tests than we do.

In fact, this whole Johaug thing is just proof that we are doing the work we're supposed to. I know it's hard to believe, but there are some of us that actually do care a lot about producing clean athletes.

There simply is no clean professional athlete that can compete with doping abusing athletes. The advantages are too great. It isn't a surprise that everyone uses doping. Norway is just the best in covering up their athletes doping messes. The norwegian front in defending their athletes is unified unlike the finnish doping officials during the big doping scandal in finland.

I'm not saying there aren't cheats, there are and that's a shame as they ruin the sport for everyone else and themselves.

However, I do choose to believe that Antidoping Norge are doing the best work they possibly can. I know athletes that get surprise visits from them at their home or work all the time and have personally pissed in front of an anti-doping representative during a surprise visit to my club, despite the fact that I have never competed above the local level and are by no means a particularly good athlete.
