The text:
>The domestic cat or the feral cat is a small, typically furry, carnivorous mammal. They are often called house cats when kept as indoor pets or simply cats when there is no need to distinguish them from other felids and felines. Cats are often valued by humans for companionship and for their ability to hunt vermin. There are more than 70 cat breeds; different associations proclaim different numbers according to their standards.
I hear it a bit, but your r's sound more American english and the syllable stresses seem off on some words.

I supposedly learned British English spelling, but I never really worked my accent much, so I ended up landing in between, I feel. Probably pulling towards American.
This is not a good example, because I can mostly turn it on more easily when there are longer words so I can accent the first syllable - STRAWbry vs straw-BErry.

mammal sounded a bit weird, it was like maamaal.
Other than that though really fucking good mate, well done. Your spoken English is better than most foreigners on this site.

Going towards American more with the r's but still sort of generic foreignery accent. Still good though.

Yeah, I still roll my R's a bit, especially when there's lots of them. The 'a' in cat also feels a bit off to me.

How'd you get a British accent like that? It sounds really good

Sounds more Sarf Afrikan than British.
When I attempt a British accent, I either do Shakespeare, some sort of Puritan West Country Pilgrim, or Irish.
