No we had a royal family but they went back to Portugal :c some of them are sill here tho theyre in Rio and theyre pretty comfy now.

Nobility is not allowed by our constitution
However there is still one descendant from Iturbide somewhere in Europe, but his titles have no value in Mexico.
If a Mexican citizen is to receive a title from other nation he or she must ask for permission first at the congress

Unless you count good ol' Liz then we never had a monarchy in the first place. There's a so called "Maori King" which was made in the 1800s to try and prevent European-isation I suppose, but most of the Maori tribes didn't even acknowledge the movement, let alone the NZ government.

Montezuma's descendant lives in Spain, and he has a bunch of nobility titles.
