Note that German-speaking Austrian inhabitants of Graz have a higher % of R1a than ethnic Slovenes of Slovenia.

Carantania encompassed only modern-day Carinthia as far as we know. In any case, Graz was German by the mid 12th century at the latest, whereas 20% of the population of Carinthia spoke Slovene as their mother tongue in 1910. So if you want real Austrian Slavs, you gotta look there.
