I only like authoritarianism in short term and extreme situations. Like right now Rwanda's Paul Kagame is very authoritarian, but he's good at keeping ethnic tensions down after the genocide and promoting development. Authoritarianism also worked well to kick start China's development. But I hate authoritarianism in developed countries, there's little need for it.
