Yeah, I think that's the point. We're not so fond of extended-stay tourists. Those who want to become Americans, however, are seen as future family. We take citizenship here seriously, and we require a certain degree of dedication. There's nothing wrong with that.

The maths involved in Econ is pretty advanced tbqh, especially if you're focusing on econometrics and financial economics. A lot more difficult to wrap your head around than a STEM degree like chemistry/biology.
