t.NYC resident with Frisian ancestors and New Netherlands Dutch ancestors. I live in a long time Dutch area that was German for a long while and when it turned to shit was Puerto Rican then some Mexicans moved in right before gentrification. Now the Puerto Ricans pretend it's there's because they took it over when it went to hell and over 30 years made it third world. Now that people related to those who spent 400 years making it something great, they are now butthurt because their 30 years if crime and destruction will be snuffed out.
