How common is drugs in your country?

>Soft drugs
As you might've guessed, it's really common here. Especially in the bigger cities.

>Hard drugs
Depends on the type. Ecstasy pills and speed are really common at parties and festivals, but drugs like heroin and meth are pretty much non-existant here.

Anyone who does drugs should die. Unless its alcohol because its a cultural thing. And even then, only in moderation. If you cant control yourself to not do drugs then how can society trust you?

as far as hard drugs, the media has recently been making a big deal about increasing opiate use and overdoses. I don't know if it's just sensationalism or a real thing though.

Extremely common. Whatever drug you want can pretty much be found in any town, any city, any state. At the moment heroin has made an enormous comeback on the east coast. Cartel suppliers figured out how to manufacture fentanyl, an extremely powerful opioid, in bulk for very little money. So what they do is take little or no actual heroin, cut it with the much more powerful fentanyl, move it into the US, and sell it on the street without telling anyone it's cut with a painkiller so powerful you can't safely handle it without gloves. So your regular old junkie buys some China White thinking it's just ordinary dope, shoots an ordinary amount, and has a massive fatal fentanyl overdose.

Its sometimes used for very severe pain in hospitals or prescribed in extended release patch form (like a nicotine patch)

Strongest opioid. It's for immediate pain relief over long periods of time. Cancer patients or just after surgery you might get Fent. It comes in either transdermal patches or gel patches. You can smokes the gel or just chew the transdermal.
>>
>>65872520
>Tax money off of medical and rec sales
Weed is already used in many states for medical purposes and there's really nothing wrong with that. It doesn't make sense to legalize weed for recreational use so you can tax its medical applications.
>less being spent on putting people in jail
We spend money on people in jail for evading tax, so lets legalize evading tax.
We spend money on people in jail for robbing the grocery store, so lets legalize robbing the grocery store.
We spend money on people in jail for murder, so lets legalize murder.
Very sound logic there, my fellow American.

Your logic is so flawed its hilarious. Lets put people in jail because they chose to smoke this flower = lets put someone in jail for taking someone elses life. Colorado is on its way to making over a billion off of pot sales tax, a billion that could be put back into schools, infrastructure, or hospitals.

>>65872663

>>
>>65872938
hush ya face boii
>>
>>65872935
No, it's not flawed, I used the exact same structure as he did. And on the matter of taxes, you could also tax heroine, cocaine and meth, so why not legalize those as well? I'm sure the tax earned from those could be reinvested on schools, infrastructure, or hospitals.
>>
>>65872968
>my logical structure applies to this particular subject, but in no way it applies to others because, uh, they're like, different?

>>65872784
Not psychedelic, its more of a warm euphoric sensation that engulfs your body.

I smoke weed once a week since I can't bring myself to pay for it, so I smoke with a buddy once a weekend.

Did Xanax last weekend, slept for 16 hours, not doing that again

Occasionally get some amphetamines from people
Don't like painkillers (opiates) they make me throw up

LSD was my favourite drug, but I'm actually sure it gave me Autism the last time I tripped, and I can't get back to normal.

LSD won't give you autism or anything like that but it does take time to fully come back down if you really were walking with Jerry. I've had my fair share of L and other psychs. I have to say a heavy 5-Meo DMT trip is more difficult to return to 'normal' than any amount of acid.
>>
>>65873231
Define "harmless".

The immediate effects of taking marijuana include rapid heart beat, disorientation, lack of physical coordination, often followed by depression or sleepiness. Some users suffer panic attacks or anxiety.

But the problem does not end there. According to scientific studies, the active ingredient in cannabis, THC, remains in the body for weeks or even months.

Marijuana smoke contains 50% to 70% more cancer-causing substances than tobacco smoke. One major research study reported that a single cannabis joint could cause as much damage to the lungs as up to five regular cigarettes smoked one after another. Long-time joint smokers often suffer from bronchitis, an inflammation of the respiratory tract.

The drug can affect more than your physical health. Studies in Australia in 2008 linked years of heavy marijuana use to brain abnormalities. This is backed up by earlier research on the long-term effects of marijuana, which indicate changes in the brain similar to those caused by long-term abuse of other major drugs. And a number of studies have shown a connection between continued marijuana use and psychosis.

Fantastic. This really shows how pathetic people who want to legalize weed are.
First we start off with a swampnigger throwing ad hominems and claiming I'm not making arguments, then I ask him to provide reason to why weed should be made/kept legal, and unable to throw decent claims, an American flag comes in rescue, throwing an expression so vague and relative as "its harmless". Then I got that paragraph straight from a scientific article, if you had simply googled the information you'd have known that, but no, instead of giving a full response like myself, you share a very funny meme with Impact font, showing that you find my dedication to the discussion laughable, dismissing the very fact of truth that was presented.
You again prove that leftists are nothing but parasites who will repeat everything that they listen to as parrots, and laugh at the first opportunity to them given to change their opinions and points of view.

Caffeine is if course popular. Everyone drinks coffee, tea or soda. Alcohol is also very popular, most people drink wine, beer, or stronger alcohol at parties. A lot of people smoke, but fewer every year. Marijuana or haschish are also popular, maybe more than tobacco among young people.

No idea. No one I know is into anything stronger than marijuana.

I try to avoid all of them, even caffeine. Don't really care if people around me do drugs, though.
