I was working in a chippy in my town which is a seaside town that gets a lot of tourists in the summer. A super old couple walked in and were struggling to order a meal. I asked if they spoke Welsh, they said yes, so I went and got someone who spoke Welsh and they did the order.

I've also seen a younger kid translating for what appeared to be his grandmother on the train and they both spoke Welsh.

Keep in mind that there are people in Wales, Ireland and Scotland who's first language isn't English and they're so old that they struggle to speak English
