A lot of votes for Copenhagen ITT. How's the weather in Summer? I think the ideal place to live has to have good weather. I like Paris but I think it rains too much there. Plus it's too big a city to ever be the best place to live.

Really not much to see there. Guess it is kinda boring as a tourist.
Go there when there is Bergkirchweih at least. Like Oktoberfest but with a better location, less tourists, better beer, cheaper... it is so much of a happening there that the whole city pretty much shuts down for a week because of it.

If you're wealthy, Paris is honestly the best place to live on planet earth. Gorgeous architecture out the wazoo, an absolutely ridiculous food scene, great access to entertainment, a long and intricate history: it's THE European city.

If you're semi-wealthy, you can live it up in Zürich, Milan, Munich, Barcelona or any of the capitals and still have a great time, with a standard of living not really available to New Worlders. Oslo would also fall in this category, but I wouldn't recommend it for a foreigner. If you're Norwegian, however, it's probably the best choice.

If you're middle class, Prague, Budapest, Krakow or a smaller Dutch or German town like Heidelberg would do the trick. Maximum living standards with costs at a decent level.

If you're somehow below any of these tiers (it's fine, you can blame God), stick to the countryside of wherever you're from. That can be a just as fulfilling life as somewhere metropolitan. Find the nearest town with all the amenities you need and enjoy actually being able to see the night sky.

Winter is comfy, but we dont get a lot of snow. Our weather is mostly windy, wet and cold from October to March.
The summers tend to be relatively dry and sunny, as in almost no rain, and it can be hot at times but not too much.

You should see Islands Brygge in the summer though, sunbathing qts for as far as the eye can see. A bit more crowded than picrelated and it goes on for a few hundred meters if not kilometers.
