You can buy pancake batter as well as maple syrup in pretty much any internation aisle of major supermarkets. Do you guys have German chains like Lidl or Aldi up there? I get my ingredients from Kaufland, they often have some pretty neat offers and sales as far as American stuff goes. I even got PopTarts yesterday, which is like a breakfast pastry you pop into your toaster.

Pancakes are GOAT but the maple syrup really does make them. It's just not the same without, I can't do Nutella or other chocolate products on my stack

We used to have "western pancake day" at my elementary school. Parents would dress up as cowboys and cook up some pancakes for us.

Of course, the people who DO eat that much are most likely very fat, because even me, an amerifat, is sated with a few pancakes with calorie-filed syrup and butter.
