This was all well before the Hunnic invasion and the Great Migration, like 4 centuries before. Also Y-DNA analysis shows clearly the Celtic heritage in Bayern today.

I won't dismiss your theory as being the origin of the name Lug, but 1) again this would have been way before the Hun invasions, we know the Przeworks culture (which is very similar to early Slavic Prague-Kolchak culture which literally succeeded it on the ssame spot) started there 4th century BC, and 2) Wends/Slavs were not their agricultural slaves, what gave you that idea? Non-germanised Wends living to the east of the Lugians paid tribute to the Sarmatians, and the Lugians/Vandals themselves were a federation of agricultural tribes. Their cultural heritage was East-Germanic. The East-Germanic migrations from Scandinavia started around 1st century BC, so it is possible that they mixed with the already established Wends in Przeworsk culture area, but it may well have been before too.
