Ye, Russia can be nice, but most of it is just plainly bad. St. Petersburg city center is the exception but it has it's bad sides as well.

Only oil prices. Sanctions are aimed at elite people and it's damaging to their personal companies, which is a good thing because it forces them to invest into local Russian companies for materials and equipment.

Now the oil prices have hit Russia hard, but the worst has already passed.
