How diverse was your elementary school and high school? I went

Elementary school=100% white
Middle school= same
High School= 99.3% white (1 bangladeshi kid and 3 black kids)
New High School=65% white (3 black kids, a few Mexicans, and a bunch of Puerto Ricans.

Both schools I went to were about 95% white. The 5% were just Maoris and chinks really.

Most of primary there was just a black girl who was adopted. The same year I graduated from that school I think the talley was up to 3 blacks and 1 turk.

Then I went to gymnasium and there was just a couple of arabs I think. Can't really recall if I ever saw anything else. Maybe some southern europeans.

I think I was lucky in a lot of ways.

When I lived in California it was pretty much 50% white, 30% hispanic, 15% black and 5% asian both in elementary and middle school, and when I moved to Washington most people in my high school were white, with only like 8 black kids, a few mexicans and asians, and a couple muslims.

we were all cool about it, like no one was allowed to touch the serb kids we protected them, then in highschool there were a few muslims and they were all total bros

My elementary school was 92% hispanic. I know because I looked it up at the time. So, not very diverse. Pic is some kids from the same school district and that's pretty similar to how my school looked.

The middle school I went to is currently 84% hispanic, 7% Filipino, 4% white, 2% black, 1% asian. Which pretty much reenforced my perception that everyone I knew growing up was either mexican or filipino. Also it's apparently 32% English language learners.

The high school I went to is 71% hispanic, 18% white, 4% black, 3% filipino, 2% asian and 20% ESL students.

I'm white, so while growing up I was a minority at school. It was okay. In high school it changed because we got alot of students from the neighboring town, which had more white people in it.

Also, I'm not sure why these stats I'm looking up separate "Asian" and "Filipino". I knew some Hawaiians and Samoans so I dunno why they don't get included as their own thing.

Grew up in a ghetto mix of white trash and Muslims and various other sorts.
We were like 9 white kids in a class of 24, 4 boys (myself included) and 5 girls.
I remember the Muslim kids being super pissy in religion and biology classes because "that's not what the imam says", and them absolutely refusing to stand up when we sang the national song once a week every Monday.
Can't imagine what that shithole is like now.

Luckily my high school was mostly white and we had great banter between the guys. except that one guy who was gay and preferred to hang with his own groupie of girls.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, about the ESL students...

In high school I had to take a math class one level behind most of the kids in my grade, so I wound up getting placed in the ESL math class where about half of the instruction was done in Spanish, haha. So my Spanish really improved that year.

I'm really happy I grew up this way, I really enjoy watching different cultures merging and interacting, I really like being around multiple languages all the time and people from different countries all the time. It's fun. I'm not trying to tell other people what to do I'm just saying in my experience I had a nice time, 10/10 would multikulti again.

Nah, could be a few other places up north too. I mean, the city of Leicester is statistically 40% Asian now, and far more within younger demographics.

Nah, it was a really good school with the highest Ofsted rating. You'd think it'd be shit, but for some reason London has really good state schools compared to the rest of the country, even in poor and multi-culti areas.

This, only reason I learned English really well when moving to America was that I was really good at math and science science so I barely had any ESOL and went to classes with all white and black people and my English went from 1% to 95% in that first year.

For my class, most of us knew each other from elementry school all the way to graduation. We had two blacks, they were fine, very friendly, smart and polite. But we had one mutt who tried to act hard, wore goofy baggy shirts. People thought he was tough till some girl let slip he had a shrimp dick.

I think we had /maybe/ one or two Asians but I couldn't tell you for sure.

In eighth to twelveth grade I had a half-lebanese girl, a half-vietnamese lad and a Jordanian lad in my class. The other classes were entirely homogenous The school had a tatar Russian/German teacher. A half-negress and another vietnamese boy began attending the school when I reached 12th grade.
