Russian sounds funnier, like Polish and
Russian has many loanwords especially from other languages (like for example sandwich is butterbrot, which in German means bread with butter). By the way, Russian language start including that loanwords because of Peter the Great reforms, you know, Russia was as backward as it had to take naming of unknown things. Polish language is so original that our language was creating autonomously (car = samochód which literally means moving on it own, when in Russian it's mashina which literally means machine <kek>)

Alphabet doesn't matter at all, it's just a method of writing shit down. You can transliterate Polish to cyrillic or Russian to latin easily. It's the grammar and lexical similarity that matters when comparing languages.
