For breakfast, I had cinnamon sugar donuts made fresh this morning by some mennonites.
Eat a dick kankerneder.
>>53881917
>tfw every morning you pass in front of the bakery and smell fresh bread croissants and chocolate breads
Truly the best feeling on earth
But I am posting from the bakery where I work. And we make our own bread daily.
>tfw warming yourself next to a basket of warm baguettes on a cold Winter morning
We also make our own pastries. Daily as well.
We used to have a lot of them but now most people buy bread in supermarkets.
Some supermarkets have own bakeries but it's not that good.
There are only some overpriced bakeries for rich hipsters in city center left.
>>53881917
there's a local bakery in walking distance that makes DELICIOS fresh pastries
but it's true. almost all of our bread comes from supermarkets.
>>53882020
What is real bread to you? They had whole baguettes, ciabattas aswell.

Donuts are based on Dutch oliebollen. Your point is?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliebol
The grocery stores in my city often have bakeries built into them. Makes more sense economically. The fresh baked bread is also cheaper than the sliced stuff (wonderbread/dempsters/etc).

Where I live one of the local bakeries doubles as a sandwich place. We got a free loaf a few times because of some rewards thing they have.
>>53882325
We have integrated "bakeries" in supermarkets too. But nothing beats a good old Old World family business like the bakeries, butchershops and cheese shops we have.
>tfw you will never enjoy freshly baked bread from a micro bakery where the baker is a qt that serves you coffee with the bread.
>>53882655
>Muh baguette

>hon hon hon
Even most supermarkets bake their own bread. Only retards buy factory made bullshit bread.
Or you can just go to the local bakery. Those don't just don't exist in Europe, morons. Might be hard to believe but we also have local, family run bakeries, butcher shops, etc.
>>53881917

But I do have this. In the far reaches of northern commiefornia we have bakeries that are open a few days a week and sell out of the dankest brick-oven stickybread you'll ever eat a few hours after the doors swing open
>>53890797
You can get a quality baguette for 1.7-2€ in germany.
Somewhat expensive but really good.
