Thing is, there are very few boundaries for PM. They can kind of just do what they want, if that's illegal, they can change the law about it. There aren't even that many differences between Harper's and Trudeau's governing. Harper certainly had a ideological difference, but he changed to office.

Presidents are supposed to uphold the constitution. In terms of doing that, he's horrible. In terms of a pragmatic leader he's ok. He really should have tried to have a major legislation that wasn't healthcare. Start with something smaller, build up trust and then move forwards. Instead he tried to ram a mess down everybody's throat, it's kind of worked and he's been uneffective since.

A lot of high school math teachers are shit. Getting people who get university degrees in sciences to teach people that struggle with it is a bad idea. Then have them teach 4 different grades in math so they don't even know the curriculum beyond the text book is worse.

Colleges should give you free upgrading in math in Ontario. They usually have instructors whose job it is to just teach one course, and they know they're teaching it to students bad in math, so they dumb it down and simplify it a bit. I went from a 53% in Math 11 to 84% in the college equivalent.

Law sucks, it's just a cashgrab to go to law schools. Don't go unless you're financially independent and successful in something else.

Bad at math, or arithmetic? Business math for me was just exponents, introductory statistics and pre calculus. Teaching styles can really effect your math grade. In high school they often focus on the average or above average students, hoping the below average would drop out. In college they really try to let you pass.

I do construction right now making above average. Trade schools are always an option for good paying jobs. Me personally I like strong physical labor, but there's plenty of trades that aren't as physically demanding.
