I used to watch this cartoon on a TV channel owned by the Greek Communist Party, it was pretty cool desu

There's this cartoon from like 1970s or 1960s where some Middle Eastern boy finds a buried UFO at desert and activates autopilot.
Then he goes on a trip through a meteor shower and ends up on a planet. On the planet there are dinosaurs. He eventually finds a flying rug.
Does anyone remember anything like this? I've been looking for it for ages but without luck.

What would you call the genre of music in the background? That show looks killer.
I have vague memories of this from childhood
listened to this episode and it revved up the old feels :'(

>genre of music
I can't, I was never good in classifying music. All I can tell you it was performed (and wirtten IIRC) by a regular rock band.
https://youtu.be/lSWnQLSvj8k - here you can listen to some '80s electro-rock (?) from a classic educational show.

my sister's kids love this
every time they come over they want to see the same old VHS again, they must've seen it at least a dozen times by now

Lel, interesting.
The most autistic for me were the moomins,I was scared by the groke
>>53157852
The band is Lady Pank. I'll probably go on discogs and view their releases, it'll most likely say the genre there. That 80s show looks cool though.
I remember watching the moomins with me mum every morning desu

>Lady Pank
Well, it's certainly not a classical punk rock where you have two or three chords played round a clock and rough vocal yelling the "no future" message. It's more melodic, maybe like "Sex Pistols meet The Smiths" or something.
