That has to be horrible.
My wife had to sell her parents lake home after they died because her piece of shit sister in Arizona didnt take our offer to purchase her half.
She wanted it put onto the market because she thought they would get more money for it.
They ended up getting less money then what we offered.

Honestly the wife thinks she just wanted it sold because she hates Minnesota and the winters here.

The US economy is doing good right now, certainly the best out of the developed economies, and Americans generally enjoy more than $10,000/year over Canadians in annual disposable income.

As for the US economy, I would say that it has recovered from the recession and is now in the process of making back lost gains. It's easy to find a job now, at least. The only major outstanding issue is wage stagnation.

The world is supposed to grow 3% this year. Least growth since 2008.

As for the US, we are supposed to grow 2.4%. It'll probably be 2.2%. This year was a major disappointment economically, but at least cheap oil helped our poor.

I'm gonna throw some cold water on that statement.

2% average Q1-Q3.
Worse than the 2009-2014 average.
It'll probably end up at 2.2% yoy.
We delayed interest rate hikes until at least December, and the next hike isn't expected till September next year.

The one good thing is that we finally have enough people getting hired with 5% unemployment.
Still, our more "real" unemployment rate is around 10% so we have some room for improvement.

Everything that happened between 2003 to 2013 was because of the deregulatory policies implemented in the previous government combined with the commodities boom.
The Worker's Party's administration decided the best thing to do with all the huge amounts of money was to spend it all on unsustainable social programmes, to lower interest rates to artificial levels and to regulate the economy even more. The result speaks for itself.

Oil follows three things

1. War
2. Geopolitics
3. Speculation

Speculation is downwards right now. War and geopolitics are about the same.
So the speculators justify their speculation via supply and demand.
To be honest though, that's not the real reason since one Iranian bomb in Mecca will lead to $400 oil.
>>
>>51081703
They can't kill every white person. Even in Brazil that is heavily mixed, 75% of our "whites" marry another white, the same with blacks, mixed people and natives.

What they want is a divided nation full of minorities so the can put one against the other when they want. They're trying to do this here, but only the whites fall for it and most of the niggers know it's bullshit.
Like the gay politician who keeps pretending to protect black people, but called a lawyer "a fat nigger" for saying his anti hate speech law was censorship.
>>

>>
>>51082848
Global recession = factories closing down and people out of work = radical drop in petrol use for commuting.

Sure look at Dublin during the Celtic tiger :traffic was insane in the membrane due to commuters and construction contractors scooting around. Cranes all across the skyline each representing a site with massive fuel consumption.

Cue the crash in what, 08? Man I've commuted across the city in 15 minutes for the last 7 years. The lack of traffic is a sizeable drop in demand for fuel. Probably 70% for non hgv fuel.

It's back now though, I reckon demand in Ireland will be back up in no time

>>
>>51082885
>I'd be fucking happy if that would be germanys stance on illegal immigrants
Sadly I think we're about to go soft on the issue. The Prime Minister that wanted to push a strong border police has been ousted and the new one seems to be a bit softer on it than the previous one. So I'm still unsure of what's going to happen there. Plus the next time our federal election rolls around, we're going to have to choose between that guy or a party that's even softer on immigration. So who knows what could happen here over the coming years.
But in other news, are things like this really happening in Germany right now?
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/11/12/berlin-police-raid-10-sites-in-german-capital-in-crackdown-on-online-anti/
>BERLIN – Berlin police say they've raided 10 buildings in the German capital as part of a crackdown on far-right hate speech on social media networks.
>They say the raids are part of an ongoing investigation into hate speech spread over social media meant to incite people against asylum-seekers and refugee housing.
Because it's just so difficult to believe it. It's like Germany is seeing a return to Gestapo and Stasi levels of policing thought crime.
>>
>>51083059
Oil really doesn't follow supply and demand.
No joke.
I just said that because speculators justify their downwards bets with that in mind. It's simpler to explain.

Funny enough, OPEC's decision to keep crude oil low made Credit Suisse estimate that peak oil demand has been pushed back 5-10 years. Essentially they are trying to keep us addicted to oil.

Well if it is, it's just sad, really. For me, it's gone well past the point of being funny and now everytime I read about these things happening in places like Germany and Sweden I just feel bad for the people there that don't want them happening. People that want to let immigrants in to fuck up the place can go and get raped for all I care; but I genuinely feel bad for all the people that wanted to avoid this from the begining. For your sake and the sake of many others, I hope things calm down soon and don't keep getting worse. I really do.

So the bad kind of conservatism. We have that as well.
Bad and good are subjective, but I think there's a good conservatism and a good liberalism. It all depends on the balance. Gotta be pragmatic you know. America is extremism in our central government balanced by pragmatism in our states. I'm just so tired of us ruining the world.

Import-replacement is usually.... Problematic. Replacing the things Russia doesn't do well because of geography will be difficult. It'll likely lead to inflation.
Still it's better than not doing anything.

The cold season is truly Russia. My day out here only lasts 9 hours now.
