Does it happen to you when you want to draw something and you know what you want to draw, but then you start drawing and some other idea comes to your mind, like, you look at your sketch and you tsee how you could a completely different thing out of it, and you like this new idea? But you like the old one too. And you just don't know what to draw. And you can't do both because they will be very similar. How do you cope with this?
Random pic cause I don't know what else to post.

Nobody tells me what to do, not even myself.

I save file of starting point & do both because no one will see both and why not.

Therapy. You're obsessing.
I'm not kidding.

Sure, if you're like that you might enjoy doing scribble drawings.
Like, scribble a bunch of lines on a page, then stare into the scribble (like trying to see pictures in clouds) and see what cool things pop up.
When you see something that you like, you can start drawing over top of it and actually fill it out and make it something real.
It's fun to do!
You don't necessarily have to 'cope' with it, you can just have fun with it or use it as a technique to get drawings out, or drawing ideas.
But of course, you should practice controlled/deliberate drawing too - what I mean to say is, you should practice trying to get the drawing to be something specific sometimes, and be more focused, too.
