Hey guys, someone asked me to post my work produced by masturbating during a drawing session, so here it is.

The way it works is that I interrupt watching porn to quickly draw drafts (gray) and try to channel as much energy as possible into them while making mental notes on what interests me.
After finishing off I come back to them and develop them using those mental notes (red).
The point is to bridge the brain in your dick with the brain in your skull, to draw like a porn consumer.

Feel free to criticize, I'd like to refine my practicing methods.

I don't want to mess with those exaggerations, you seem to know what you're doing, but what I do notice is the boobage - they're sacks of fat rolling on a curved surface of the ribcage, they drape down and to the sides. The strong cast shadow underneath also suggests that something holds them up - remember how we use cast shadow to lift the bugs off the ground in Drawabox/Scott Robertson, this is not the effect you're going for with breasts.

it's a good crit, anon. thank you; much appreciated! i really like the way you drew the overlap of the breasts against the ribcage. gives her breasts a better sense of weight. the way the pec cuts into the arm in the redline is a clear improvement as well.

and i actually hadn't intended her left arm to support her breast. cast shadows were a last minute addition to create depth. replacing them with a strong line weight looks like it might be a better way to go.

Ima tell you what I do.
If you want to draw porn, whenever you watch porn, save images that are interesting in a folder the same way you save works of your favorite artists.
Here's an example, I have my "concepts" folder within my porn folder and it's full of stuff that doesn't arouse, but inspires.

I saved pic on the left because I like the idea of two girls being stranded away, dependent on each other physically and emotionally. I saved pic on the right because it looks like an old master painting. And I saved pic in the middle because I love how her clothes divides her body into two parts - warm and cool, physical and emotional, tension and relaxation - it's a play on the opposites.

It's hard to put into words, but I really like to create this abstract mash of thoughts - ideas rise from it more often.

I guess it depends on what you're trying to achive, if its a beautiful drawing or you want to tell a story, some times telling a story really makes it better because you can tickle some fetish in the guys who viewing or make it sound more "reasonable" for that drawing to exist

obviously for many people dialogue is a way to extend more of their fetish into a work. if you're into the same specific things the artist themselves is going for then the dialogue will probably add to your experience, yet if you're just a fan of the visual and not necessarily the framing then it can detract.

say you're not into incest at all, so a piece of two characters fucking that you otherwise find attractive might put you off cause of text that keeps bringing up how they're related. but if you were into that the text probably adds to your enjoyment as long as it's not written in a way that you think is stupid.

i have a lot of weirdly specific things i'm into that can mostly be boiled down to intimacy displayed between multiple people so should a work have text that plays to any one of those of course i'd be into it, and anything that runs against that tends to detract from a work for me.

Most of what i know about colors is due to master study but i still struggle the hell out of it so i dont know if i can help you much with that, the easy way is probally stealing the palette that artist you like use, no good values/colors will save a bad structured drawing too, drawing/Painting are all connected.

That corner of her ribcage under her left boob really bugged me. I lost some of the gesture myself, but I hope you get the point - If you pick a position for your ribcage, you have to stick with it, then it's the muscles that conform, not the bones.
Note that I only drew bones and muscles, no fat pads.

I think what anon was trying to say was that the contours of the forearm on the image's left side don't describe the anatomy as well as those of its opposite. It's true the wrist is a little thicker when seen by that angle but the forearm as a while there is looking more like a solid rectangle than anything. Much the same with the leg there too, there is a slightly more pronounced arch from the soleus and heel of the leg in the foreground than there is on the other one. Other than that the only thing I see that could use adjustment is the subtle line tangent near the lip-nip. Good job, this is a very cute and sexy little picture.

Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem if you would actually sit back and realize why your art isn't good. I am not a good artist, I am learning and I am taking in information. People keep on telling you what is wrong with your art and you don't step back and learn from it. Thank you, this is much easier for people to critique. Its easier to critique a process rather than a finished product when the basics are what the issue is. Draw out the musculature of the arms because at the moment it looks like his right arm isn't connected to anything. His ear doesn't seem to have depth and connects on an awkward part of the head, probably because you didn't leave any room for features. His torso is stretched weird, perhaps in a possible pose but definitely uncomfortable and unnatural. Of course the heads are a huge problem that you aren't correcting so that is something to fix immediately. Show a reference study perhaps?

Sorry, I'll try to explain a bit more.

Her right arm(our left) gets wider towards the wrist while her left arm gets narrower. The same is true for the left leg but with the ankle. In both cases, it makes the appendage a bit lumpy and awkward looking. As for the head, it's pretty subtle so it's hard to explain.

Even if you look at your reference, you'll see that the head bobs slightly because of motion that originates all the way in his center of gravity (around belly button), yours seems to be bobbing up and down independently.

You will spend more money on supplies on traditional means than if you buy a 50 dollar drawing tablet. I think its worth it to get a cheap tablet to give it a shot. Its more time efficient, its more cost efficient over time, and it is more fun in my opinion.

Also keep in mind, there are no shortcuts. You won't be good in a year but if you study properly and use the proper resources (Loomis) then you will improve faster than most people.

No, not really.
The drawing is flat and there are some errors with proportions (foreshortening), but unless you mention something specific, eg. "dude's leg is half a head longer than it should be", you aren't actually helping the person.
Same with the sense of depth, which is something that comes with years of practice, mentioning it now in a critique without an advice on how to fix it in the long run is pointless.

I also hate softening a critique to cushion a blow to someone's ego, but this is different. You're not being harsh because it benefits your critique, you're being harsh because... I don't know, maybe you didn't sleep well or this is the fifth beginner drawing you've seen today. Which is understandable, but not helpful.

The face features are too big for the skull, all of your skulls are yoo big for the body. I would suggest you find pics of your fave artist and draw the faces, flow and linework come with time but faces tend to be THE place for bad havits to never leave.
