Should I use a raster or vector program for simple doodles?

Does it matter if you're just doing a simple doodle?

Raster gives a more natural, pencil feel. It really is your preference though.

Vector based Mischief is actually pretty nice for doodles.

Is it possible to import a pencil drawing into a program like Illustrator (with a scanner) and have it so I can resize it while maintaining the same line thickness?

Can you draw faster in vectors than you can draw in raster?

Does that keep the thickness of the lines fixed, so that if they're 5px thick when the total is 500x500px, they'll also be 5px when the total is 50000x50000px?
