It isn't junk if you like it yourself. You need to establish provenance for this work to be considered worth more than 100 dollars. The artist name is not one I recognize, but you will need to get more information on the piece and it's history.

I'd say that's a really old Nicholas from 1880 or so. Worth around $5,000-$6,000 depending on where you live.
