Nothing special really. I started with a rather old book named "fundamentals of drawing" (notice that Helvetica fellow /gd/s).
It leans heavily on making you understand what a hand is made of and how it works.
In addition to that, i payed attention to how several artists drew hands.
Mannerism can be very inspiring, as those paintings often have useless, but beutifully arched hands.
