An infinite amount of time, most porn artists are in their 70s and have drawing since the birth. It takes endless practice to draw porn.

>>
In my eyes, you already have.
>>
>>3122048

>>

i don't get the rush
some people just want to do this as a hobby

having a all or nothing, 100% mindset and absolute dedication is a good thing for sure, but it's not the only mindset to have
>>
>>3122464
>the rush
some people wanna get there faster and be pro.
some people here dont even think drawing is fun.
>>
>>3122477
I get it. /ic/ has a toxic atmosphere, but there are some helpful people here.

Maybe the mindset is that nothing is fun until you get good at the activity, the activity being drawing?

consider that oyari art it's very stylized in a manneristic way with a focus on a composition of features rather than anatomical accuracy. things like ribs, skindentation, etc. I've seen proper anatomy in some of his art (hard to find) and the guy has a proper understanding of basics but his style is what makes his living and trademark of sorts with now some copycats here and there.

can't give you an amount of time to get there but a recommend studying what deviations of anatomy makes his style. like the long neck and torso, tight shoulders, skin folds, facial features like the dot nose. line weight, color pallet and shading, etc.

btw. he cant draw males for shit. only lolis

why is it a meme?
>>
>>3122707
It's not a good book that will teach you the perspective equivalent of reading The Cat in a Hat when it comes to American Literature.
>>
>>3122265

Being completely honest, it took me an hour to do.

>>3122266

T-thanks.

>>3122582

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Not Op, but that's very interesting. I'm still a beginner to visual arts, so the analysis was much appreciated. I've always been a fan of Ooyari, but I could never pinpoint the details of why I enjoyed it.

Still, I prefer the "sloppy" brush stroke style of the earlier VNs like Quartett and Romanesque than the cleaner lines posted in the Op.

How long have u been drawing? Because i still do not believe that first pic took you an hour, i am not trying to shit on you but something of that quality cannot require an hour to do, it looks like you did it not giving a single fuck in less than 5-10 mins at most
>>
>>3122902

A few years. I have no excuse, I just need to draw more.

Just draw more slowly, use references and pay more attention to your own drawing, dont half ass stuff if you are trying to make a finished pieces, just to clarify, i am not saying that you should ALWAYS use references since i am pretty sure some anon with quote me on that and say that its a bad advice, a begginer cann't really draw without reference since their visual library is shitte, you will end up with stuff like your first pic, but once you get used to references your visual library should get somehow bigger and closer to reality

Also, this is optional since its the way i decided to approach drawing, pick something to focus on instead of trying to get better at everything at the same time, i myself picked portraits, at first i couldn't even draw well using references

Pic related is proof of my progress, nothing amazing but hey, progress is progress and for a begginer like myself i cann't ask for more than this since i am not naive enough to think that in such a short ammount of time i would git gud
>>
>>3122932
Thanks for posting your progress, its really inspirational how fast you've improved! I'm just barely past the level of the first few, and it reall\
gives me hope that I can reach the last one in a reasonable amount of time.
>>
>>3123199
You can be even better, you just need to practice properly, its not really "just draw" like everyone says, if you draw mindlessly your progress will slow down, you should really check the sticky if you dont know where to start, the sticky was pretty useful for me but its not mandatory to follow everything it says, check it to have an idea of what is out there
>>
>>3122746
I forgot to ask about your drawing procedures. the stages you make/take and if you learned to use layers.
consider that in digital you can sketch and the redo the line work (like with traditional light box but with opacity layers)
