Hi guys! I hope you all are doing well, I like drawing things from life, especially people.
Sometimes they don't have much time, when that happens I ask them for a photo, do you think it's a good idea to buy one of these if I want to improve my proportions? I don't have a printer and I was wondering if I would be able to measure a photo well on my laptop screen?

But since my strips of wood were thin I used the kind of hole punch you use for leather belts (the one with that sort of wheel on it).

I live at my parents' place and every time we buy something plastic/metallic they check them for lead. Too much lead and they'll throw them out (I have an underage brother who is only 152 cm). Lead are bad for kids.
I've never done DIY stuffs before. But wood stuffs are always lead free so it'll be a huge motivator.
