My lightest pressure makes a mark that is too dark, while my darkest pressure is not dark enough. How do I fix this? Is it more to do with the program, or my tablet settings? I usually use the 'paint & apply' brush in Clip Studio (basically soft round), and I'm using a Surface Pro 4 (pls no bully)

Go to File-Pen Pressure Settings, then select adjust by multiple strokes and make some varied lines. That should fix it.

Go to the brush density or opacity settings, click on the button to the right to open up the graph, make it look something like this.
