best picture for weeks, actually it'd be cool to have a 'best of the week' page for /ic/ with voting maybe, i don't really know how to do it though

What's there to know? Visit all threads to look at pictures and collect the best ones. Set a day of the week to make the weekly thread, namefag and post the week's list somewhere, link in the OP, make a poll. If there are too many pictures, make a short list. Maybe also make a gallery somewhere, and also make monthly best polls. Take only the pictures created for /ic/, not wips posted to get feedback or examples of work.

Try putting a new layer on linear dodge or something similar with a scattered spot brush to mimic the look of shiny, reflected scales in photoshop.
