Where do I find references for dead people? Like dead bodies just lying around? But aesthetisized?
Like pic related but just lying around lifeless. Is there such a thing?
I guess you'll have to use historical photos and people sleeping.
Maybe they let you go to see dead bodies at the medical school of your city, but I guess It's more probable if you go as an art student with your class. I did, it was cool.

Mostly piles of bodies, if you're ok with that.
It really depends, if you're looking for "undamaged" ones as well, if not: documentingreality

I modeled for an artist in NYC back when I was still stripping my way through college and he asked me to pose as if I was hanging from my neck. Just tied a rope around my body and Drew me from feet to head. When it came time to draw my head and neck I kneeled and pulled the rope until it was just barely comfortable. I think the sketch came out well enough even if I wasn't the correct gender or body type for the character he was drawing.
