An old ink on canvas paper illustration i found in a hidden folder (A3 size). Took me about 50hours i think. Did it in 2014. It's a bit crop but the original left me with my old gf. Wondering if it is still relevant to explore this path.. Doing paintings nowadays. Opinions?

i think it's pretty interesting, it's not like an uncommon way to go about things or anything, but it's not like there's no room for it either. i also think like creatively, like on a self-fulfillment level there's a lot of places to go, like i've seen very architectural images like this, very fine renderings and more folksy sort of ones, all kinds of subjects, ones that focus on 2d design type dealies, ones that try very hard to be environmental. so lots of possibility and it seems like you have the ability to do it.
Dig the style and looks great. Have any vids or the like that show the process of similar style?
Amazing
Woah...

let me guess, god is dead, and we are all living on his rotting corpse..

Undeniably brilliant, but filled with that oh so tragic teenage angst. I guess whether the work has depth depends on whether the artist has faith, if he believes in god and it pains him to have wrought it, or if it is cheap satire, in which we are assumed to have paid for looking at something obscene and all been made fools of.

Because having talent isn't the same as having depth, no?
Because the emotional content can be judged only according to the feelings it emotes, raw, simplistic, and animal in intensity, or complex, nuanced emotions.
