do good artists internalize them or something?
>>3097345
i like, got any more of this kind of stuff?

>do good artists internalize them or something?
Yes, even Vilppu said something about it in Proko's video

Did some optimizing for myself, maybe some of you want to save it as well.
The process is so simple, it's inspiring af

oops forgot to resize

He also mentioned it in the lesson about landmarks in his Drawing Manual video course.
I have a webm of a manga page. Can I post that kind of stuff?
Also why don't you guys make threads for progressions not necessarily in gif or webm format? I have some progressions or "メイキング" that I'd like to share
>>3100025
Well... Do it! :D
>>3100027
I don't know which question you just answered but I'm going to post both just in case
Here is an old GIF of me turning the layers on/off, from a study thread a long time ago. Too fast to be of any real help, but I thought it looked pretty cool regardless.

Another one from earlier this year

I didn't post more gifs because I already posted the ones I have in a fairly recent gif progressions thread.

Sry for the meme question, but what brushes do you use? When i saw that a while ago i thought it was traditional
>>3101373
bit of a weird way to paint, i wonder if it's designed to look impressive in videos. pretty cool
>>3101377
What makes it weird to you?
I haven't painted much myself, never in oils either.
>>3101384
normally you wouldn't finish one little area then move on to the next area and so on, you'd do like the whole face at once and refine it sorta.
like this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VNLdeZND44
it's not bad or anything though, just a bit different and quite photogenic
>>3101393
It makes more sense to do the other way if you want accuracy. The proportions keep shifting otherwise.
>>3101384
yeah other anon is right, watching that style of painting gives me anxiety.
i guess if you paint the same portrait enough over and over, youll know where things go and how to conserve paint.
