The thing I'm wondering about is how many anime Mark has watched or how many manga or comics he has read. What I notice first in his work is how unimaginative and bland it feels. Why make so much gray gradation - why can't he use more contrast tones to make composition more alive and dynamic? Why does he use such bold panel frames - bold lines slow the action. And adding to the mix: broken glass that feels weird because most of the pieces are placed on equal distance to themselves, and icicles that have no rhythm too.

Does he make these things on purpose? I'm not sure. I think Mark just doesn't have the same passion for manga and comics as others do, but he can somewhat draw and make books about it, so that's that

Well OP thinks writing good comics makes Crilley more tolerable and this is my counterargument.

haha yeah i dont go out much here in my neighborhood, pretty much all my neighbors did or sell drugs so i never hanged out with anyone. i didnt have internet at the time and i didnt go to school to take care of my 1 and 2 yo sisters. so it took me a while to learn spanish .

so while i missed 3 years of school i would draw about 10 to 15 hours a day. drawing was all i had to keep me away from drugs and looseing my sanity becuase of a big change in my life. so just practice, practice, practice!!!
