The critics in the /beg/ threads aren't even helpful half the time. They're just some generalized answers that don't have any proper explanation to them. Its rare that some of the posts get valid Critique or if any at all. If a post gets 3 or more replies then either

Critiquing an artist who has drawn effectively, (you) or your persona, creates a werid psychological dissonance and thus you gain insight into yourself and your critiquing process. You find the courage to say, I feel >envious of this artist!

People who have been saying /ic/ is too nice, or too mean, are missing the point:
Say how you feel about the art from your person standpoint, but then jump right into critique.
"I love it, but its shit." "I hate it, and its shit."
Or as I experienced, in my envy...

aside from it being unfinished, the perspective and pose look bland, there is no dynamic, which lets her look frozen. maybe you should try to experiment more with perspective and motion.
it seems like you did not have a plan for the picture aside from her design (reminds me of some kind of oni which is neat).
and some colors are not fitting very well, like the 100% desaturated grey tones mixed with saturated reds could use a revise.
the palette you used for her skin looks fine, but the light and dark colours you used for shading need to get adjusted to the red values

It's currently on hiatus because my laptop broke a year ago and it's hard to do it on my phone so I'm practicing drawing while waiting for a new laptop.
It's about a magical girl(shown on pic) that only has the ability to heal, and she fights monsters/evil magical girls using "stage show magic tricks" as compensation for being weak as fuck and she's also an entertainer in her normal life. It's supposed to end in a tragedy and her getting Isekai'd to a different dimention after her world got destroyed because it's a both a prequel/sequel to another story.
It can be found on RoyalRoadL but it's incomplete, i just gave you spoilers because it won't be complete for a long time.

Try and work with weight in mind as well as anatomy.
He seems too light footed for someone decked head to toe in metal armor, not to mention the weight.

Think of how it would weigh a body down and impact form.

Your gesture is very fluid and nice, it seems like you have that down pat just fine.

Nice and fluid, but yeah you'll get there with the weight thing. It just takes practice and you seem to have the right mindset for it, so I'm sure you'll get it down pat in no time.
