Can it be applied to drawings?
Also, do you any good composition techniques to use with drawing?

Betty Edwards speaks about it in the 2nd chapter of the first book advised in the Sticky.

The 4 basic skills of drawing...
1 Edges - shared edges and contour drawing
2 Spaces - negative spaces
3 Relationships -perspective & proportions
4 Lights & shadows – shading
... naturally leads to...

I've read it, this book is pretty bad.

It's just a bunch of pseudoscience bullshit

Yes.

But Gestalt seems to be pretty good.

I want to have better composition abilities, but gestalt is design stuff, I'm not sure if I should learn it now or trying to find another composition book.

not using dynamic symmetry to improve your art

no wonder your drawings are still considered shit
>>
>>3091047
what is dynamic symmetry?
>>
>>3091625
a terribly obtuse way of trying to understand composition with straight lines, it's not worth the time of day

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
