I typically draw with pencil/pen to paper but lately ive been wanting to try get that clean anime look. However i realise maybe im not using the right software to clean up my artwork

Stop doing that chicken scratch shit man. Make more confident lines. Software doesn't have anything to do with it. Also, you should've posted in like the Alt Style thread or the Questions thread rather than making an entire new thread.

Anyway, just develop your line confidence. Tracing other peoples lineart is a good way to practice hand and line control.

what are you talking about no one has that perfect of a line technique when they are doing sketches, how i normally see people do it is trace the sketched work over in a neater form using sketch paper
