Is this bait? We are 99.99% Representational artists, and you post some thing that is abstract but it does not appear intentionally so.

This image demonstrates abstraction done right. If you zoom in and look at some of the details in the painting you can see the brush strokes making distinctions in the objects form not as it is, but as you will perceive it. When you zoom out that same thing is now a recognizable object that feels like it belongs in the painting. That is an abstract idea. Not the mess you see popular in schools today.

garbage, looks like you couldn't make it look god enough so tried to hide the poor construction under lots of messy paint and thick outlines and can't convey any message out of this mess as it is, the first two panels are so indistinct that nothing is recognizable in them. Honestly this makes me think of what a kid would make with crayons or finger paint, though closer to crayons because you don't know how to water down or blend acrylic it seems. Stuff like this is why I hate "modern art" as a genre, conveys nothing and requires no understanding of fundamentals or skills.

This is gonna piss off droves of the loomis fags but I actually unironically think this is one of the best works I've seen on /ic/ for a long while. Genuinely intriguing imagery. Heavily indebted to Guston, of course, but makes a fantastic use of the triptych format to suggest narrative.

Also, you have to understand that asking for feedback for abstract work on /ic/ is completely worthless. The vast majority of people who frequent this board have no understanding, knowledge or interest of anything besides kitsch illustration, and you will find that any critique of artwork outside of that domain will be nonsensically subject to the rules and values implicit in such work by the people here.

As for your drawings, hey clearly show substantially less facility than your painting triptych. The spaces are all flat and unexpressive. Strongly suggest you use something other than felt-tip/biro.
