IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER YOUTUBER, or would like to help other startups with building their channels with tips and tricks DO POST.
To start with a topic. I'm wondering if one has passion for tech gadget reviews, art and gaming, would it be a bad idea to merge all in a single channel, and branch in case he gets popular?
I'm thinking of starting a Youtube video with ocasional drawing and concept related videos, ocasional tech reviews (like drawing tools, tech I've purchased and would like to review) and more. I think gaming side is already pushing it, might struggle generating so much content. Was thinking of re-working other reviews in my own, so that I can save time (same with topics about gaming)
Do share opinions yourself. (and yes, if noone's interested in a new general, simply discuss the topic mentioned and I'll leave it die)

Not >>3072642, but I run a small YouTube channel with 23k subs(1 yr). I mostly do streaming(average 50 - 89 views per stream).
Tips:
1.) pick a platform(YT or Twitch)
2.) commit and go with the flow. Don't bother with a plan(most people spend too much time planning)
3.) Relax and have fun, don't get too serious with it. If content is good view will come. Also don't obsess over it if you just started(don't be check comments constantly and cry over low subs)
4.) pick format and stick with it as long as possible. people who change too often lose subs(they can gain subs) but most often lose more and channels die.
you seem to be into recording painting sessions. Keep doing that. It's a niche that will work. You stick out in the sea of generic commercial Youtube artists.
your paintings are preety good, I like them. You're gonna make it. We're all gonna make it.

once you get more views, then invest more time. But for now, don't be too serious
