I'd really like to draw like the style of his comics, but I can't find a single tutorial or guide on drawing proportions. I typically start with the nose and work outward, because I suck at heads.
My noses end up being too big, my perspective is usually very shitty.
Anyways, I drew Souchi Tsujii but I know a few things are off here.

first, ito's style is all about high detail
second, you need to be real good at your fundamentals. Ito's style is fairly grounded in reality from a proportion and simplifcation standpoint, so you can't cut nearly as many corners as with generic anime/manga style.

Thanks! I noticed that his faces were more realistic as far as shape and that I can't just cut and paste the generic manga heads. Thanks again for the info.
