So basically I'm new to art, I've never drawn people seriously before and I've come across this kind of style that is in a spot between realistic and cartoonish, it really interests me and I'm wondering if there's some kind of process that I have to go through to learn how to draw like this? I kinda tried today, but I think the clean lineart made it look too cartoony, and I'm still figuring out the eyebrows and the hair since I don't think you can get the same look on digital. Here's some examples of the style I wanna recreate.

no shortcuts to it, you have to learn how to draw realism. particularly for a style like this that's still closer to realism than to cartoons.
its just korean bootleg manga style??
If you really want to copy a style just study one of your refrences. But you can't study without knowledge so you need to know the fundamentals in the sticky.

its very similar to some manhwa stuff I've read
like this

its not so much reading though, its mostly a bunch of drawings with one page describing what to see/what exercise you should do to help you understand the concepts.

So like other anon said, I have to practice realism from pictures, but before that I have to learn the fundamentals and basics, got it. ty

I'm into doing graphite transfers of the actual proportions and then fucking it up with acrylic to make a kind of cartoonish dirty look of real images. idk I like trying to ride the uncanny valley
