That's a fucking great joke
Pretty cool. What do you do for a living? Illustration?
Currently getting through my last year as a Animation/Illustration student in Detroit. Doing storyboard tests for Nick and CN. Painting and sculpting art toys with my spare time. Spending 9-10 hours a day just making stuff and being weird haha.

Oh shit CCS!? I'm contemplating going to that one was curious if the animation program was good at all? I visited it not too long ago the campus seems nice
Bingo! 5 years ago, the animation department was a joke. But now that we have my good friend and mentor Tim Flattery as our chair head for the department, things are just getting better and better. If you can get into CalArts, do it. It's number 1 in the world for a reason. But ccs is becoming a close competitor. Every year we have the EA expo(Tim flys in executives, directors, and close Hollywood friends to look and possibly offer jobs to students) we fund trips every year to CTN and the Ottawa animation festival. The networking at the school just blows my mind. Many of my friends and classmates are interning or working at every animation studio the west has to offer. If you can afford it. Do it. You learn from everyone around you, the friends and faculty become family. If they know you care. You will help you succeed.
*They will help you succeed lol

Oh, awesome! That's good to hear when I went to visit CCS and talked to the animation instructor there and he was very cool and critiqued the cartoons and art I made. His name was Steve Stanchfield and he gave me some good tips to get better at drawing. I'm hesitant on going to art school that's why i'm taking a year off to think about it. I was planning on SVA but I have friends in there and it seems like it's going down the shitter, CCS seems like a good option from the films he showcased and also due to how close it is to me it may be the cheaper option lol, so thanks for the insight.
(also sorry for posting my own art earlier, that felt a bit rude lol)

Steve is the man! Just went to Cali with him a few months ago. And about going to art school, the way I see it, If you need to make art or cartoons, If all you think about are stories or ideas that need to get the fuck out there, Persue it. The time you put into the work will make you better. Having assignments and deadlines to feed the fire under your ass will make you work the most you'll ever work in your life. Prepair for weekly all nighters. And the networking you make will open so many doors. Good luck to you and stay weird!

Lol, awesome! I do want to make my own cartoons and shit but I also love the layout process and doing storyboards for those said cartoons. I do want that kind of push college has to make cartoons and atm I'm making a cartoon with a hand picked group of friends and treating it like it was a proper pilot and I like drawing traditionally so I do all my concepts, storyboards and layouts on paper. I think college would be a fun and useful way for breaking into the industry and showing what I can do also giving myself a year off means I can save up to afford it as well. Thanks for the insight again this makes me consider this art college for what I wanna do more.
looks like that modern john K style.
