It's perfectly a legitimate concern that the person giving you advice probably doesn't even draw and is pulling it out of their ass, I'm not saying someone that isn't very skilled can't give good advice, but it's reassuring to learn from someone at an even or higher skill level than you, which is hard to tell on an anonymous image board filled with "Dunning-Krugers" as others call it.
