It's not a hobby, it's a passion. Just because I don't want to work professionally doesn't mean I don't want to be great. Art is what gives my life meaning. I typically try to aim for 4 hours a day.

Quite the dilemma you got there anon. You could try getting SSRIs on the darkweb or something, but careful with that a lot of mass shooters were on them before they went postal- probably why you can't have those issues and wield a gun around. There's always illegal drugs like ecstasy? You'd have access to them what with the busting dealers/teenagers on a regular basis. Shit being a cop might be cool actually.

Op, I'm diagnosed with dysthymia, ptsd, and gad due to events in my life. I also had a brain injury that really fucked up the way my body processes drugs. For ten fucking years I've been through multiple psychiatrists and therapists. I've basically been on every kind of anti-depressant. They either really made me sick or made my mi's worse.

I started to do my own research. Got off all the perceptions (five), and started taking holy basil/tulsi every night for the past year and a half. It seriously helps and has made a world of difference.

I also started taking rhodiola whenever I felt an attack/episode coming on, and taking it calms me right the fuck down.

Try them. You have to take the tulsi religiously, because it's one of those things that builds up over time in getting in your system. Lowers your blood sugar though.

I have very bad depression and recently started drawing. It was bad for the first few days where I couldn't focus because I kept focusing on the depression, but now drawing relaxes me. I feel like when I draw I'm diffusing my misery.

Also if you haven't already, fix up your diet. Visit /fit/. I know it's cliche but exercising and eating well will make you feel better. I'm not saying it'll cure you but you will see an improvement. Endorphins are an amazing thing

I'm sorry you're going through shit man. I had therapy and and SSRIs but what haunts my record is that I had to drop out of HS and go to a special school for fuck ups like me. That's always on my CV and it makes me feel weak and pathetic. I went for anxiety though, which led to my depression.

I don't suggest SSRIs, they make you numb and even more depressed.
