I just bought all these brushes from guy on Craigslist for $200.
Was this a good move? Or did I get goofed? I don't paint but I do flip stuff if it's new or gently used.
You should've heggled the price down a bit. I see an artists loft brush and those are not worth the money because they will get hairs in every piece you use them with. I think that's a good deal, but you might have gotten an even better one.
Don't worry anon
Holly fuck that's a shit ton of brushes!

I see W&N and Princeton brushes, also the big bob ross brush in the middle that shit is like $50 each.

yep, seems about fair

True. It is still a good deal regardless.

Ok, so the story is I'm taking a new strategy of buying art supplies here in Richmond, VA from desperate VCU art students and reselling them here in D.C, vs buying their artwork (which more often than not their thesis works) which is more risky imo.

that's a steal, but if you can't paint worth shit then those brushes are wasted on you.
It looks like most of these have never been used.

sell them individually on ebay (or other sites) for 75%~ of their original price and you'll get your money's worth. Or just lie and say they're new.
IMO ebay seems more inconspicuous than craigslist
It's not possible to tell just by eyeballing them, you cretin. Depends which brushes they are. Post a higher res pick with all the model names showing.
Also good luck flipping arts supplies. Next time try something that has a healthy market.
It is a good buy if you are thinking about how much they would have sold in retail. However, most of them are not very good brushes even if they are priced at a decent mark for retail, so they might not even sell at all.
